Rochester police have a 17-year-old in custody following smash-and-grab burglaries at two city gas stations.
The first happened around 2:15 this morning on North Goodman Street near Norton.
A Hyundai SUV smashed through the doors, thieves took property, and left in the SUV and a white Kia.
Vehicles with the same description were involved in a similar burglary around 3 a.m. on Chili Avenue.
Officers spotted the Kia speeding near the baseball stadium, it wouldn't stop, and it crashed near the Inner Loop.
The driver ran away, but police arrested the passenger.
