Some students in the Rochester City School District are making the most of their Spring Break.
Roughly three dozen students from each of nine city high schools will be visiting some of the nation's Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
Meantime, students from district middle schools will be visiting police headquarters and learning about careers in public safety.
And the district is holding financial literacy classes this week for students in grades 6 through 12. Students are learning about budgeting, banking basics and building credit. The classes are a partnership between the District and Advantage Federal Credit Union
