The legal battle over New York's congressional districts is still going on.
Democrats are fighting in appellate court for the districts to be redrawn yet again, and a hearing is set for May.
Democrats argue that the state's Independent Redistricting Commission should be compelled to draw a new map. There was no consensus on the originial map -- allowing Democrats in the legislature to draw gerrymandered districts that were thrown out by a court. A special master drew a new map, and Republicanss won 11 of the seats in the November election.
The case could reach the Court of Appeals, where the governor and Democratic State Senate must agree on a new Chief Judge.
