Rochester police have released Body Worn Camera footage showing the shooting death of Brendon Burns, who was fatally shot when police and Monroe County Deputies tried to stop him on Barrington Street..
Burns died on March 20th after pointing a shotgun at officers and ignoring commands to drop the weapon.
The body camera footage shows Burns reaching into a sack on the ground and pulling out the shotgun as police surround him, then raising the weapon against police orders...
Both police and the New York Attorney General's Office are investigating the shooting.
Burns was known to police and linked to a road rage shooting in Brighton a few days before his fatal encounter with police.
