Rochester police have made no arrests in a stabbing overnight.
It happened around 1 a.m. on Diringer Place, off North Goodman Street.
A man in his 40s is recovering at Strong Hospital.
Police say the first officers at the scene encountered several very drunk people and had to withdraw to complete their investigation.
