A former East Irondequoit teacher's aide is facing a federal child pornography charge.
Prosecutors say 20-year-old Leonard Ortiz Junior was trading child porn over social media.
Ortiz allegedly had over 600 photos and 100 videos on his cellphone showing young children being sexually abused.
East Irondequoit school officials say Ortiz was fired in December when the State Police investigation began.
They also say none of the images on Ortiz's phone were of East Irondequoit students.
