A state appeals court has issued a stay of a Supreme Court ruling last month.
That ruling found the state health commissioner was not allowed to make the vaccine mandate permanent without state Legislature approval.
The Appellate Court is set to take up the case during its next term beginning in May.
Nearly 34,000 healthcare workers either quit or were fired when the mandate went into effect in September 2021
