A housekeeper will serve 25 years in prison for raping a Rochester nursing home patient.
The Attorney General's Office says 52-year-old Khadka Pradhan sexually assaulted an 81-year-old woman with dementia at the Shore Winds Nursing Home in September 2021.
Other employees at the home caught Pradhan in the act and held him for police.
A jury convicted him of Rape, Criminal Sexual Act, and Endangering the Welfare of an Incompetent or Physically Disabled Person in November.
