Rochester police say a driver was killed when a car slammed into a tree and caught fire.
It happened shortly before 3 a.m. on Norton Street, near North Street.
Police don't know why the car went off the road.
When they got there, the car was fully engulfed in flames and driver was dead inside.
The person's name has not been released.
