New Yorkers Can Vote From 6 AM Until 9 PM For Today's Midterms

Polling places in New York will be open today from 6 a.m. until 9 p.m. for voters to cast ballots in the midterm election races.

Democrats are looking again to sweep the statewide races for governor, attorney general, comptroller and U.S. Senator.

But polls indicate a potentially close race for governor, with Democrat Kathy Hochul looking to become the first elected female governor, and Lee Zeldin hoping to be the first Republican to win a statewide election in 20 years.

Voters in New York also are being asked to authorize the borrowing of $4.2 billion for projects related to climate change, clean energy and environmental protection.
