Federal prosecutors say a substitute teacher from Fairport has been charged with possession and receipt of child porn.
They say 25-year-old Marc Hoffman was a substitute teacher in the Fairport Central School District, when the district got information on September 19th that Hoffman had contacted a minor over social media and asked for sexually explicit photos.
The minor was not a Fairport student.
The district fired Hoffman and called in police.
Their investigation found Hoffman had been in contact with multiple victims, one as young as 13.
Explicit photos were exchanged.
Police seized Hoffman's cellphone and found some of the alleged photos.
Hoffman was released on conditions.
