Rochester police have released the name of the teenager killed Monday night on Pennsylvania Avenue.
16-year-old Jaquise Davis died shortly after he was shot. He was a student at East High School.
And 13WHAM reports Davis is the great-nephew of Rise Up Rochester director Wanda Ridgeway. Her group promotes non-violence and supports families of homicide victims.
Police say Davis lives on that street, but are still working on a motive for the shooting.
