The state transportation department is closing the South Goodman Street bridge over the 490 expressway for a rehab project.
The road crews also are closing the off ramp from eastbound 490 to South Goodman.
The project will likely last through September.
Occasional closures on 490 at the bridge may be needed during the project -- but the bridge will stay open for foot traffic.
