Local Police Agency Won't Enforce State's New Concealed Carry Restrictions

At least one local police agency is now on record saying it won't enforce the state's new restrictions on concealed carry of firearms in many public places.

The Bath Police Department says in a Facebook post that officers won't arrest permit-holders who carry a licensed handgun in the village parks and playgrounds.

The post says arrest decisions in locations where concealed carry is prohibited will be refered to the district attorney.
