Attorney General Letitia James, two dozen national law firms, and reproductive rights groups are launching a legal hotline so patients and providers understand their rights.
Callers can get guidance and resources about their legal rights to access and provide abortions by calling (212) 899-5567.
James says the state will continue to be a safe haven for all -- and notes this network will work around the clock to offer the free support because she says everyone in this country should have the right to make their own decisions about their own bodies.
