The PAB's Executive Director Explains Why He Believes He was Suspended

The suspended executive director of Rochester's Police Accountability Board is telling his story.

In a blog post, Conor Dwyer Reynolds claims he was sexually harassed by the PAB Chair Shani Wilson. He claims it started days after he was hired in October 2020. He says she told him he was attractive and tried to get him drunk the following month and asked to sleep with him.

Reynolds said he stayed silent for 18 months because he feared Wilson would used her political connections to discredit him and end his career.

But he says he reported the harassment to the board last month, and was suspended the following week.

Wilson, through her attorney, would not comment because the investigation is ongoing.
