A man is in custody after a shootout with Monroe County Sheriff's deputies inside a Henrietta restaurant.
It happened around 7:40 last night while about three-dozen people were inside the Carrabba's Italian Grill on West Henrietta Road.
Deputies got a report of a man with a gun behind the bar. When they arrived, Sheriff Todd Baxter says the man fired at them and narrowly missed a deputy's head.
The deputies returned fire and the man was taken into custody.
No one was hurt.
The suspect has been identified as 33-year-old Alonzo Jones of Rochester. The charges include a gun crime and the attempted assault of a police officer.
