New York has distributed more than 80-million take-home COVID tests since December 2021.
The 81-point-seven-million tests have been distributed to nursing homes, local governments, schools, and non-profit groups across the state.
The state originally secured 100-million COVID tests and has almost 20-million tests stockpiled in preparation for future surges.
