State lawmakers are pushing for another increase in the state's minimum wage. The increase would rasie it by a dollar an hour to $14.20 next January and to $15.75 by 2025 in upstate counties. The minimum wage in New York City would rise above $20 an hour by 2025. Future increases would be tied to the inflation rate.
