Rochester Police are investigating after a body was found around 7:15 p.m. Wednesday on Ames Street behind an abandoned building. The Monroe County Medical Examiner is working to identify the person and determine the cause of death. Police say any time a deceased person is located in this manner, they treat it as suspicious. Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or Crime Stoppers at 423-9300.
