Monroe County Executive Adam Bello is ordering a review of the county's parole system after a level two sex offender was found working in a corner store across the street from a school.
Shadad Alghaithy is one of two men accused raping a teenage girl in the store.
Bello says the public deserves to know that parole officers are keeping track of sex offenders.
Algaithy was previously convicted of giving indecent material to a minor and is not allowed within 1,000 feet of a school.
The county's probation department has to oversee over 200 sex offenders.
