A 26-year-old Henrietta man is under arrest after a string of burglaries at a new construction site on Grandstand Circle in Henrietta over the past several months.
Monroe County Deputies identified a white U-Haul pickup truck as a suspect vehicle, spotted that truck on the site last month, and saw a man loading it with sheets of stolen plywood. The deputies moved in and arrested Alexander Schwartz, charging him with petit larceny and possession of burglar tools. Schwartz had a number of outstanding felony warrants and was sent to the Monroe County Jail. He was released on February 24th.
Investigation has linked Schwartz to ten burglaries, and additional charges were brought against him today.
