A Rochester man has been sentenced to 25-years-to-life in prison for the murder of another man in a drive-by shooting.
The District Attorney's Office says 27-year-old Jeremiah Barley was sentenced yesterday.
He was found guilty of second-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
Victim Dakota Podlaski was shot in May 2020 at the corner of Dewey and Magee Avenues.
Barley was arrested weeks later. Prosecutors said Podlaski was an innocent victim of a stray bullet fired by Barley.
Barley is the brother of one of the men killed in the 2015 mass shooting outside the Boys and Girls Club.
