Anthony Love is charged with murder and manslaughter in the July 2020 beating death of Kei'Mere Marshall.
The boy's mother, Andrea Lipton, left him in Love's care while she was at work.
She found him unconscious when she returned.
She faces a manslaughter charge for delaying getting medical help.
Jurors yesterday took another look at the video of Love's questioning by police.
