Five people have been charged with criminal possession of a weapon after Rochester police heard gunshots coming from the area of Bartlett and Reynolds Streets early this morning.
As police were investigating, they saw a car leaving the area and commit a traffic infraction.
Police pulled the car over on Arnett Boulevard and saw a gun while speaking with the occupants.
All five were detained and a second gun was found in the car. All the occupants, who ranged from 27 to 18, were arrested.
