The Monroe County Sheriff's Office has charged a Rochester man with burglary and assault in connection with a stabbing last weekend at the Pines of Perinton.
Investigators learned a resident of the apartment complex had a stay-away order of protection against 31-year-old Dante Hills of Rochester, who forced his way into that person's apartment on Sunday.
Hills repeatedly stabbed a neighbor, who was visiting at the time, causing serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Deputies tracked Hills to an address in Rochester and he was arrested yesterday. He's being held on $50,000 bail.
