The sentence is 20 years in prison for a Waterloo man who admitted to killing his wife.
John Gray pleaded guilty in November in the murder of his wife, Ashia Chilson Gray, a teacher in Geneva.
The woman was shot to death in November 2020, and Gray was arrested after a standoff with police.
