The record number of homicide victims this year in Rochester has grown to 79.
Police say 36-year-old Tarrell McKnight was shot Saturday afternoon on Watkin Terrace, on the city's northeast side.
Officers performed life saving measures at the scene, but he died at the hospital yesterday.
No one has been arrested.
