The United Way says the 11th annual Roc the Day fundraising campaign say it raised a record total, just shy of $1.2 million dollars.
There were more than 9,000 donations during the 24-hour period that ended at midnight.
The money will go to 570 area nonprofits.
The fundraiser is held annually on Giving Tuesday.
