The Monroe County Department of Health has confirmed 1,369 people have died of COVID-19. Eight new deaths were reported Monday. Officials say 71,812 positive cases have been recorded. The seven-day rolling average positivity rate, based on combined Antigen and PCR test results (New York State guidelines), is 4.4%. According to the CDC, Monroe County is considered a county of high COVID transmission.
