Unvaccinated students at all 64 SUNY campuses are now facing a COVID-19 vaccination deadline.
Now that the Pfizer vaccine has received full approval from the Food and Drug Administration, those students now have just over 30 days to receive their shots.
In the meantime, they're still required to provide saliva samples for testing until they're fully immunized.
Students can request an exemption to the mandate for religious or medical reasons.
Anyone else who fails to meet the new rule will be unenrolled or have to take their courses remotely.
