A Rochester woman in her 40s was shot and fatally injured late Friday night on the 100 block of Seward Street.
Police say they found the victim shot in the upper body, and despite lifesaving measures she was pronounced dead at the scene. The Major Crimes Unit is investigating and working to identify a motive for the shooting.
They're asking anyone with information to call 911.
