The victim of a drowning at Durand Eastman beach on Saturday afternoon has been identified as 18-year-old Steven Yarier Mojica of Rochester.
Authorities say Mojica was pulled from the water by swimmers and was taken to Rochester General, where he later died.
Police say he was swimming outside the designated swimming area.
