UPDATE: Rochester police have identified the city woman killed in a drunk driving crash early this morning as 23-year-old Autumn Johnson, and they've charged the driver who caused the crash with vehicular manslaughter.
Police say 19-year-old Jamilla Evans was driving a car that slammed into an ambulance at the corner of North Goodman Street and Central Park about 1:30 a.m. Evans allegedly failed to yield for the ambulance, which was on its way to an emergency call with its lights and siren on, and she ran a flashing red light at the intersection. She crashed into the ambulance and then into a utility pole.
Autumn Johnson was her rear seat passenger. She died at the scene. The front passenger, another 23-year-old, is hospitalized but recovering. Evans herself was treated at the hospital and released, as were the two paramedics on board the ambulance.
Police have now charged Jamila Evans with Drunken Driving, Vehicular Manslaughter and various traffic infractions.

Rochester police say a city woman was killed when a car and an AMR ambulance crashed on North Goodman, at Central Park.
It happened shortly before 1:30 this morning.
Police say the woman was in the car with two other young women. Two employees were in the ambulance. It was on its way to a call and was not carrying any patients.
The crash is under investigation.
