Local leaders came together this afternoon to cut the ribbon on Phase 1 of the Blue Cross Arena upgrade project.
The arena has a new audio/visual system, upgraded restrooms, and new locker room facilities.
Mayor Lovely Warren says Blue Cross Arena is well on its way to becoming a more modernized facility.
Phase 2 will expand the building to include a restaurant, as well as an expanded terrace and concessions area.
