A Sodus man has been arrested for a hammer attack on another man.
It happened Saturday night at an address on Ridge Road in Williamson.
Police say 35-year-old Timothy Valentine hit the man with a hammer several times, in the presence of two children.
Valentine is charged with assault, criminal possession of a weapon and endangering a child.
The victim is expected to survive.
