The event will take place on June 5th & 6th from 10am-5pm each day.
Organizers say maximum capacity will be capped at just under 12 thousand people and the number of vendors will be reduced.
There will be three points of entry to the festival, the Canal Path, the North entrance and the Parker Street Bridge.
Those who attend will be required to wear masks.
Monroe County Executive Adam Bello says today's announcement is an encouraging sign.
The Live Duck Race and Canal Nights won't be happening this year.
The festival was called off last year because of the coronavirus.
