A man wanted for robberies in Livingston and Monroe Counties has been arrested after a chase through the Town of Caledonia.
Livingston County Deputies tried to stop 31-year-old Nicholas Donohughe of Caledonia after he allegedly held up a store in the Monroe County Town of Wheatland. They spotted him on Callan Road, but Donohughe drove off, nearly striking three sheriff's patrol cars. Donohughe abandoned his car and ran on foot but was tracked down by a police dog.
Donohughe is charged with the Wheatland robbery, and also with an earlier holdup at a store in Caledonia.
Donohughe is a parole violator and remains in custody in Monroe County.
