A deadly shooting is under investigation this morning on Rochester's north side.
Rochester Police say a man in his late 20s was shot several times shortly before 10 a.m. on Mead Street, which runs between North Clinton and Remington.
Captain Frank Umbrino says the victim was sitting in his car at the time of the shooting.
The man died at the scene. No suspects are in custody at this time.
It is Rochester's 16th homicide so far this year. There were seven at this time last year.
