Rochester Police are identifying the man shot and killed Tuesday on First Street.
Police say Roger Palermo Jr. suffered a gunshot wound to the upper body and died at the hospital.
Police say it appears Palermo was not the intended target of the shooting and was hit by a stray bullet.
The shooting marked the 15th homicide in the city so far this year, and the third in a 24 hour period.
