Monroe County Executive Adam Bello is now calling for Governor Cuomo to resign.
He says the allegations against the governor have become a distraction.
In his statement, Bello also acknowledges getting a call yesterday from Governor Cuomo's vaccine czar, Larry Schwartz. Bello says he repeated his position at that time that there should be investigations into the allegations. Bello says vaccines were not discussed
At least one unnamed Democratic county executive plans to file an ethics complaint about the call, suggesting that county's vaccine supply could be affected by a position on support for the governor.
