The Ontario County Health Department says it's detected a case of the UK Coronavirus variant.
The case was one of 18 reported across the state Thursday.
Ontario County officials say it was picked up by routine surveillance and the patient has already recovered.
Ontario County Health Director Mary Beer says we still need to wear masks and socially distance, and be a little more vigilant about it.
