Rochester police have an arrest in a violent shooting incident that took place back in December.
Rochester police arrested Arthur Allen on charges including second degree murder, attempted murder and criminal possession of a weapon. The charges stem from the shooting death of
Jonathan Walker, who was killed in a parking lot at 50 Resolute Circle back in December. Another man was injured in the shooting and is recovering.
Rochester police say a man was also arrested in Georgia and charged with second-degree murder in the same case. Marcas Collier was arrested for murder, attempted murder and weapon possession. Police say Collier is being held pending extradition.
Police say Allen was arrested with the help of a SWAT Team. He resisted and fought with the officers, two of whom were injured during the arrest. Allen will be arraigned tomorrow in City Court.
