The Monroe County Health Department says there have been 234 new confirmed cases of COVID-19, and no new deaths since the last update. That brings the 7-day rolling average of new cases down below 300, to 285 new cases per day and the 7-day rolling average positivity rate down to 4.0 percent. The number of people hospitalized in the region is also down below 600 for the first time in several weeks.
