Flu cases are way down in New York State.
A report from Excellus BlueCross BlueShield says there have been just over 23-hundred cases so far this flu season.
Last year at this time, there were nearly 44-thousand.
Officials say the big drop is due to increased flu vaccination, as well as preventative measures put in place to stop the spread of COVID-19.
