President Trump is not granting clemency to former state Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver.
That means Silver will continue serving his 6-and-a-half year prison sentence for his role in a multi-million dollar bribery scheme.
The New York Times reported earlier this week Silver may have been considered for clemency because of his relationship with Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner.
