Area veterans getting their health care from the VA are getting the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine.
The VA medical centers in Canandaigua and Bath have already given the vaccine to front-line health care staff and veterans in nursing home care.
Starting tomorrow, other veterans age 75 and older will be able to get the shot.
Veterans should not call for an appointment. Medical Center staff has begun reaching out to eligible veterans to schedule appointments.
