A Rochester nursing home is reporting a significant increase in positive coronavirus cases.
Kirkhaven Transitional and Long Term Care is telling families its weekly update showed a sharp rise in cases this past week after previously reporting several weeks without a case.
The home will begin vaccinating its residents and staff today, with a second-round to start in three weeks.
Residents are tested every three to seven days, and in-person visits are suspended.
