The COVID-19 death toll in Monroe County continues to climb.
The Health Department is reporting 52 more people have died of COVID-19, brining the death toll to 559 since the pandemic began. The deaths were reported between December 17th and December 27th.
There are 530 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 since the last update. The 7-day rolling average positivity rate for Monroe County is 8.5%.
Officials say 964 people in the Finger Lakes Region are hospitalized, 146 of them are in ICU.
