Greece Town Officials say Drew Forsythe will be the town's new police chief, replacing Chief Patrick Phelan, who retires at the end of the year.
Phelan has been chief since March of 2014.
Drew Forsythe is currently the Greece Police Deputy Chief of Operations and Special Services. Prior to joining Greece Police, he spent 36 years with the Monroe County Sheriff's Office, leaving in 2017 as undersheriff. He'll take office in January.
